Our Terms and Conditions of Sale
This Web Site, www.applianceconsultants.co.uk, is operated by Internet Appliance Consultants (‘we’ or ‘us’). These terms will apply to all your purchases of items from the retail section of our Web Sites, whether you are ordering online or by telephone. Please read this document carefully and print it off or download it before placing your order.
We may change these terms from time to time. Please check them before you make a new purchase.

PAYMENT

You can pay for your order by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or JCB , direct into our Bank Account or via our Telesales Dept on 01673 861637. We will take all reasonable care to keep your order details and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we will not be liable for any losses if an unauthorised third party obtains access to your information.

If billing and delivery addresses are not the same, we may require a utility bill for confirmation. Payments will not be accepted for Credit or Debit Cards if not delivered to the Card Holders address.

All prices quoted on our Web Site include VAT.

YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US

We will confirm acceptance (or otherwise) of your order as soon as possible, either by email (if your order is placed on-line) or by telephone (if your order is placed over the telephone). A binding agreement arises once we accept your order and we will then charge your credit/debit card on acceptance of your order.

DELIVERY

Delivery is to mainland UK only. We do not make overseas deliveries. We will advice you regarding shipping. Please read our Delivery Details page for details of our prices. Click on the LINK.

Please note:
The delivery charges stated cover ground floor only with a one man delivery i.e to the front door. Please arrange assistance if required.

AVAILABILITY

All items are subject to availability. We can only guarantee availability whilst stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will contact you with suggestions of goods of equivalent quality and price. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes out of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are approximate and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 as amended Online and distance selling rules, You have an unconditional right to cancel an order. You can exercise the right to cancel an order by informing us in writing within the following time limits ('Cancellation Period') by e-mail using the 'contact Us' screen or info@i-ac.co.uk

Cancellation Period
From the date the order is accepted by Us. Until 14 days after that date to a maximum of then 7 days after date of delivery. This does not allow to Special Orders which may not be cancelled as they are made to order only.

Return of Cancelled Goods
Where goods have already been dispatched, customers exercising their right to cancel an order must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they are returned to Us at Your expense and risk in an 'As New' condition, without any damage caused by excessive or unreasonable use. We would prefer the goods be returned in their original packaging to prevent any damage in transit. Any unreasonable damage to the products may result in You not receiving a full refund. The returned goods must include all instructions and all cables, remote controls and accessories. The return must also include any premium offers or free gifts offered with the product.

You should return the goods as soon as possible following cancellation. You will be liable for charges for the recovery and collection of the goods by Us. Furthermore if You do not return the goods within a reasonable time. (Normally within 7 working days of receipt of the goods) or fail to make them available for collection within this time, You are deemed to have accepted the goods and therefore will be recharged as per the order on the web site. Alternatively We can arrange the return of the goods if requested at Your expense.

Refund of Cancelled Goods
We will refund the purchase price of the goods and the original delivery charge within 30 days of Your cancellation notice once the goods have been returned at Your expense and checked as new and complete, less the cost of collection and recovery where applicable. The speedy return of goods can prevent delays in receiving Your refund.

Exceptions
Please be aware there are a few exceptions where an order cannot be cancelled, namely-
when a product has been made to order or personalised in any way
when the seal has been broken (opened) on software, recorded media and consumables

Business to business transactions. All business orders that are taken can only be cancelled prior to delivery (i e before delivery is booked). Should order be booked in for delivery then the non acceptance or return of these goods will incur cost of re-stocking cost of 25% of the order value plus all delivery costs incurred by us.

You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. This cost is approx £130.00 plus VAT (This is for One item only extra items cancelled at the same time this is increased by £50 per item) for most kitchen appliances. Range Cookers, American style refrigeration and other large items are subject to extra cost. This cost is due the type of kitchen appliances that we sell costs, to collect these items require specialist Home Delivery Company to ensure the correct handling and safe return carriage to us. This at YOUR cost as per our terms and conditions. You also responsible for any damage should you use your own method of returning these items to us and at your own cost.

Damaged Goods
If you receive goods in a damaged condition, please make a note of this on the despatch note, you will need to notify us of this by phone, email or letter in any case within 3 days from receipt of goods.
Note:
Save in respect of faulty or defective goods, nothing in these Internet Sales terms shall give to the customer rights of cancellation in regard to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised or which have been installed by or on behalf of the Buyer or which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 30 days of cancellation, having deducted any return costs ( if applicable).

This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

DELAY OR FAILURE TO PERFORM

We shall not be liable to you if we are prevented or delayed in performing of our any obligations to you if this is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control eg :an act of God, explosion, flood, fire or accident war or civil disturbance
strike, industrial action or stoppages of work any form of government intervention
a third party act or omission failure by you to give us a correct email or delivery address or notify us of any change of address
If this happens we shall inform you as soon as is reasonably practicable and if these circumstances continue for 30 days either you or we will be free to cancel the contract. If so, we will give you a full refund of any payment we have received from you within 30 days of cancellation.
